BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A homeowner in the upscale community of Boca Bridges is suing the person who was supposed to rent a home at the rate of $18,000 per month. The home, a 4100-square-foot house with five beds and five baths at 9040 Chauvet Way went under lease contract in March. But according to the suit, the tenant — who paid $70,500 as a security deposit — failed to pay actual rent. The total amount for the term of the deal: $216,000.

According to the suit obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, which you can read in its entirety through the link at the end of this story, the lease was entered into between “Luxury Boca Bridges, LLC” and renter Francis M. Cobbinah. Luxury Boca Bridges is managed by Yehuda Rosenberg and Chaya Borger — both of Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs. Cobbinah is now being sued for allegedly reneging on the deal. It was not immediately clear if Cobbinah and three young children listed on the lease are currently in the home.

The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $30,000 — that’s standard language for filing in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. Public records show the house was purchased for $2M in January of 2022. Taxes for 2022 are logged as $17,287.

There is no “original” address for Francis Cobbinah on the lease document. We note that the first name is spelled as both Francis and Frances in the complaint. “Luxury Boca Bridges, LLC” is represented by Glenn L. Widom, Esq., of North Miami. Read the complete suit, here.
