Tropical Wave Moving West. National Hurricane Centrer Forecasters Watching.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The tropical wave East of Florida now has a 30-percent chance of developing into a tropical cyclone within the next seven days, according to data released Wednesday afternoon by the National Hurricane Center. The system is now the only system worthy of a “yellow X” as of Wednesday afternoon. An oval represents where a system may form, and not necessarily a direction of travel.

For the North Atlantic…Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. Eastern Atlantic:
A tropical wave is located a couple of hundred miles to the
southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. Conditions are expected to be
favorable for gradual development of this system later this week and
into the weekend while it moves westward to west-northwestward over
the tropical Atlantic.
