DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Kings Point, the senior living community in Delray Beach, continues to be a hotbed of residents accused of crimes. The latest, a man accused of walking into a kitchen and battery a woman at work.
Leonard Brown,53, of Burgundy J in Kings Point was jailed on a charge of “battery.” It was unclear why someone in their 50s was living in Kings Point. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on August 1st and released the following day on his own recognizance. A court date is pending. According to the police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com:
“On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the victim stated the defendant (Brown) came into the kitchen highly intoxicated. The victim then retreated from the kitchen to the patio area of at which time the defendant grabbed the victim on her left arm and pushed her. The victim complained of pain to her left arm. The victim then stated the defendant laid on the bed and fell asleep at which time she called 911 for assistance.”
