BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Boca Raton Police are still trying to figure out who they pulled from the ocean Friday morning. As of Saturday, there’s still no identity for the body found floating roughly a mile off-shore.
The body was spotted by officers with the Boca Raton Police Marine Unit on routine patrol. The body was pulled from the ocean and taken to shore where the investigation began.
The person is identified as female, but that’s all the information that police have at this point. The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy as the investigation gets underway.
This is the second female body pulled from the ocean off Boca Raton in August. Another woman’s body was recovered from the shoreline on August 1st. That was believed to be a suicide.
