BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The National Hurricane Center is watching two tropical waves east of Florida. While the ovals indicate where a system may form, and not necessarily a direction of travel, it does appear that these systems are systems worth watching. Peak hurricane season is still several weeks away, but several long-range predictions are now calling for an “above average” or “above normal” hurricane season.
This is the forecast from the National Hurricane Center for Tuesday, August 15th, 2023. This was updated at 6 p.m.
