BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An elderly man shot and killed himself Monday afternoon in the Boca West Country Club. No one else was injured.
Sources connected to the emergency response tell BocaNewsNow.com that the man was in a room in a townhouse unit when a family member heard a gunshot. No one else in the unit entered the room but instead called police.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and waited for Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies to determine that the scene was safe. Upon entrance, sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that it was determined that the man took his own life.
BocaNewsNow.com is not publishing the address of the incident which occurred in a towns house around 2:30 p.m. While an investigation is underway, it is believed that the man acted on his own.
