BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The National Hurricane Center continues to monitor a system in the Atlantic. That system now has an 80-percent chance of developing into a tropical depression within days. If it reaches named status, it will become storm Tammy.
The Atlantic Hurricane Season continues through the end of November. The lull now should not be considered permanent. It is not unprecedented for systems to develop in late October or even November.
