No Traffic Enforcement Agreement With Police Leads To Alleged Criminals Roaming Freely In Gated, Multi-Million Dollar Home Communities… Seven Bridges Board Investigated?

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Alleged criminals are roaming the multi-million dollar gated communities of Boca Bridges and Seven Bridges at night, stealing cars and inciting panic in homeowners who fear car thefts could escalate into armed confrontations.
Incredibly, neither Boca Bridges nor neighboring Seven Bridges has a “traffic enforcement agreement” in place with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office — a program used by more than 50 gated communities in the area that permits law enforcement officers to issue tickets on a community’s private roads. The program dramatically reduces crime. Police tend to be more visible where they are permitted to issue citations. All police can do without a traffic enforcement agreement in a private community is to leave empty police cars at various places — an often ineffective deterrent for professional criminals.
“These are professional criminals,” said a law enforcement source. “Whether they are actually the ones perpetrating the crimes, or bringing in expendable kids who have no records and can vanish into the night is unclear. But they use Google Maps to find the multiple soft spots in communities like Seven Bridges and Boca Bridges, enter the communities, and commit their crimes. If we’re not there, we can’t stop it.”
As BocaNewsNow.com reported days ago, the Board of Directors in Seven Bridges Delray Beach lied to homeowners — in writing — claiming that Palm Beach County all but rejected its application for a traffic enforcement agreement. The Board of Directors, in an email obtained by BocaNewsNow.com claimed that PBSO would only agree to a “traffic enforcement agreement” in Seven Bridges if stop signs were removed and speed limits were increased. Palm Beach County officials said that’s an outright lie — that the county never told the community to remove stop signs, and any speed increase would minimal to ensure police could enforce the speed limit under state law. Legal action may be pending against members of the Seven Bridges Board which asked the community to vote on a traffic enforcement agreement based on false information.
“The board members seemingly colluded to lie to the community about safety,” said an attorney who told BocaNewsNow.com he is investigating and may file a complaint with the State of Florida. “It’s unclear why the Board would lie about safety, but we need to review contracts with the community’s security firm and see where money is flowing.”
The Board also asked homeowners if they would like to arm the security guards in the community — a move that would result in increased fees.
“Whether there’s a connection remains to be seen,” said the attorney. “There may be nothing. There may be something. But it is certainly notable that the board of directors issued a lie in writing and the management company transmitted that lie.”
The Seven Bridges management company is “Complete Property Management” known as “CPM.”
In Boca Bridges, which shares a driveway off of U.S. 441 with Seven Bridges, it was not immediately clear if a TEA was proposed. The community is several years newer than Seven Bridges and may need additional traffic studies before a TEA proposal could be considered.
Cars are routinely stolen from both communities which have also experienced a number of residential burglaries. Neighboring, unrelated communities on Lyons Road between Clint Moore and Atlantic utilize both traffic enforcement agreements with PBSO and infrared camera systems. Boca Bridges, Seven Bridges, The Bridges, and Lotus do not utilize any of these security measures. All are communities built by G.L. Homes but are now self-governed.

In order to get police protection communities need to agree to let the sheriff ticket them before he will provide patrols in the community Something is wrong here We all pay taxes and deserve police protection
With the millions of illegal border jumpers now all over the USA, things are about to become very interesting. Boca will soon take on a third-worldish feel with new dangers lurking around every corner. I predict that all gated community guards will soon be armed… just like Bogota.
