Now Veronica Soleiman of Hollywood is facing charges filed by the Boca Raton Police Department after the alleged theft was apparently caught on camera.

Police were called to Macy’s on Thursday, November 30th, just before 1 p.m. when security professionals at Macy’s said they watched Soleiman steal the following items, then exit the store towards Glades Road.

The items: Three Burberry 2-piece men’s fragrance bottles; Two Burberry 3-piece Women’s fragrance bottles; Two Valentino fragrance bottles; One Coach Jewelry set; One Michael Kors Bracelet; and One pair of Naturalizer shoes. The grand total for the alleged theft: $901.50.

According to a police report reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Soleiman “admitted to taking fragrances from the store and knew doing so was wrong. It should be noted that the incident was captured on Macy’s security cameras and a copy of the video has been entered into Boca Raton Police Department evidence.”

Macy’s, according to police, is pursuing criminal charges against Soleiman who was arrested, booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and later released on $500 bond. A court date is pending.
