Most schools did well in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach on the Florida Department of Education’s latest report card.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Florida Department of Education’s annual school grades were released Monday, and the news is good for most public schools in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach. The grades take into account student success, teacher success, and the number of kids who graduate to the next grade at the end of the year.

For Elementary Schools: Waters Edge Elementary in West Boca Raton was the top school for English and Math. The school easily earned an “A” grade. Also earning an “A,” Del Prado Elementary, Whispering Pines, Calusa, Hammock Pointe, Sunrise Park, Morikami Park, Sandpiper Shores, Timber Trace, Panther Run, Blue Lake Elementary, Binks Forest, and Somerset Academy Boca East.

Boca Raton Elementary School held steady with a “B” for the second year.

For Middle Schools: Boca Raton Community Middle dropped from an “A” to a “B,” while Loggers’ Run held with an “A,” Omni Middle held with an “A,” Eagles Landing maintained its “A” grade, Polo Park Middle kept its “A,” Don Estridge High Tech Middle School remained an “A” school, and BAK Middle School of the Arts also maintained an “A.”

For High Schools: Atlantic High School in Delray Beach earned a “C” grade, dropping from a “B” last year; Boca Raton Community High School earned an “A” for the second year in a row; Spanish River maintained its “A” grade, Olympic Heights High School dropped to a “B” from an “A” last year; Boynton Beach Community High held stead with a “C” grade; West Boca Community High maintained its “A” grade’ G-Star School of the Arts remained a “B” school; and Somerset Academy High in the Canyons earned an “A” grade, while Somerset Academy High in Wellington earned a “B.”

For schools with K-8 programs — increasingly popular — we have these grades: Verde K-8 earned an “A,” Slam Boca earned a “B,” Bridge Prep of Palm Beach held stead with a “C,” Plumosa School Of The Arts is a “C” schools; Addison Mizner holds its “A” grade.

  1. I have lived in Boca Raton since 1976 when it was a small town with a population of less than 49,000 people. People were nice not the rudeton that you speak of.

    Maybe just the rude ones stand out and that there a 1000 nicies for every rudie
