BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man is dead and Manor Care Boynton Beach is facing a wrongful death lawsuit for allegedly taking such horrible care of a patient, he developed the wound you see in the image above. The wound ultimately led to sepsis, according to the lawsuit.
Attorneys for the survivors of Warren Paul say Mr. Paul was admitted to Manor Care Boynton Beach on February 1, 2022 for “heel pressure sores.” Those are sores on your foot. But through ongoing negligent care, according to the suit, employees at Manor Care Boynton cared so little about Mr. Paul that he was permitted to develop pressure sores on his buttocks. Medical notes, according to the suit, made it clear that he was susceptible to “sacral skin breakdown.” That’s the skin on your lower back.
Mr. Paul underwent debridement as a result of the sacral sores, and was ultimately transported to an area hospital for sepsis which was “caused by the severe and infected sacral injury,” wrote attorneys. Mr. Paul died on November 10th, 2022, apparently from conditions related to the sores.
“Warren Paul succumbed to his wrong death on November 10, 2022 from septic shock with the Stage 4 bedsore still present and ultimately fatal at the time of his death,” states the complaint which you can read below.
The suit is filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court by Gordon and Partners, P.A., in Palm Beach Gardens. It seeks in excess of the statutory minimum of $50,000. Manor Care has not filed a response to the suit. Read our other Manor Care lawsuit coverage here. Read the complaint, below.

The place is disgusting. They’re not even nurses they are health aids who know nothing medically. They don’t care about you. They don’t give you your medicine on time. Or they don’t give it to you at all. They don’t answer the Bell when you need help. The food is unedible. The place is loaded with bugs and stinks. I had to check myself out of there after they almost killed me by mixing the wrong medicines. As much as I needed the rehab they were not giving it to me and they do not care about anyone. And none of the workers they’re speaking English. I’m surprised they haven’t been shut down yet or have a class action suit for hurting so many people.
