BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A resident of the Century Village senior living community in Boca Raton says she was drinking “straight vodka” before attempting to enter the gated community of Lotus on Lyons Road. She was blocked. She was stopped. Police were called. Christina Alonge was arrested.

BocaNewsNow.com first reported on the arrest of Christina Alonge several days ago. New details obtained from a police report reveal that the 64-year-old woman was apparently trying to enter a community where she did not belong. That didn’t go well. Here is an excerpt from the arrest report:

“I met with the (Lotus security guard) who was standing next to a white Kia Sportage. The vehicle was running with the keys in the ignition. The vehicle was operated by a white female driver who I later identified as Christina Alonge. Alonge was the sole occupant inside the vehicle. The security guard stated that Alonge was stopped at the resident gate. Vehicles behind her were honking their horns. The security guard realized she was not a resident and asked her to move from the resident gate. The guard advised she appeared confused and was not leaving the community causing him to call police.”

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office sent deputies who determined Alonge was seemingly under the influence.

“I asked Alonge why she as at the Lotus community. She replied “there is no issues at all.” Alonge advised she does not live inside the community nor is she visiting a resident. Alonge stated she does not know where she is coming from. Alonge had trouble answering basic questions I asked her. As Alonge spoke her speech was slurred. As Alonge spoke I smelled the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. I asked Alonge to step out of the vehicle and speak with me. Alonge was uneasy on her feet and as se stood she had an orbital sway. Her eyes were bloodshot and glossy. I asked if she was a diabetic and she said she was. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was called.”

A DUI investigator was also called. That investigator documented the following:

“The defendant stated she was coming from a friend’s house located inside of Century Village Boca Raton and was driving to her home also inside of Century Village Boca Raton. The defendant stated she had 2 or 3 drinks at her friends house prior to attempting to drive home. The defendant described the drinks as straight Vodka in a glass, indicating a pour height of approximately 1-inch.”

Christina Alonge, according to police, refused both a field sobriety test and a blood alcohol test. That results in an automatic license suspension. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on one count of Driving Under the Influence.
