BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Major delays continue Thursday evening for travelers flying in and out of Palm Beach International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, and Miami International Airport. Bad weather both in Florida and across the nation are leading to major delays. The good news: there are only five cancellations. The bad news, the delays are getting worse.

As of 4 p.m. on Thursday, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is reporting 335 delays, with discount carrier Spirit logging most, and JetBlue coming in second. Of the delays, 153 are departure delays with 182 arrival delays.

At Palm Beach International Airport, 131 delays are on the books, with 60 departure delays and 71 arrival delays. JetBlue is having the most challenging day, with American Airlines second on the delay list for Palm Beach International.

At Miami International Airport, 432 delays have been logged so far with 223 departure delays and 209 arrival delays. American Airlines, the dominant carrier at MIA, has logged more than half — with 218. Delta, Southwest, Spirit, and Envoy Air are also logging a significant number of delays.
