Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Palm Beach International, Miami International Airports Report Cancellations and Delays.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Flight delays and cancellations are increasing at South Florida’s major airports of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Miami International, and Palm Beach International.
As of mid-afternoon Friday, Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International is reporting 214 delays with 30 cancellations. Spirit Airlines is reporting the most delays with 60, followed by JetBlue with 54, and Southwest Airlines with 33.
At Palm Beach International, 67 delays are on the books with seven cancellations. JetBlue has logged the most delays as of mid-day with 19. American Airlines has logged 17 delays, and Delta has reported 11.
At Miami International, 244 delays are affecting travelers with 39 cancellations. American Airlines, the dominant carrier at MIA, is reporting 152 delays so far, with Envory Air logging 16, Spirit logging 15, Southwest logging 13, and United with eight.
While the weather is relatively decent in South Florida, the bad weather hammering the Midwest is affecting flights nationwide.
