BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — I-95 northbound in north Broward County is barely moving after an early morning tractor-trailer crash.
FDOT tells BocaNewsNow.com that a tractor-trailer overturned in the area of SW 10th Street. The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. Traffic is still crawling just before 9 a.m.
FDOT cameras show a multi-mile backup. Best bet: exit I-95 at Copans or Atlantic and use side streets to head north past the scene at SW 10th. Rejoin I-95 at Hillsboro.
No injuries were immediately reported. The driver was not trapped in the vehicle, according to sources familiar with the rescue operation.
