BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Broward Sheriff’s Office is responding as of 1:20 p.m. to the report of a body in a North Broward County hotel. Blood was also apparently found in the room.
According to sources familiar with the dispatch, a body was found in a room at the Boca Suites Deerfield Beach hotel which is part of the Best Western chain. The hotel is located on East Newport Center Drive which is just off I-95 across the Palm Beach County – Broward County line. It was not immediately clear if the victim is male or female, or the approximate age.
A homicide unit was requested to respond to the scene which is just south of Tenth Street in Deerfield Beach.
