DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Kings Point Delray Beach, the senior living community between Atlantic Avenue and Linton Boulevard, continues to be the senior living community with more criminal arrests than any other in South Palm Beach County.
The latest resident to be jailed: Glenn Collier. He lives in the 400 block of Burgundy K in Kings Point. He was taken into custody late Sunday night and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail early Monday morning.
While the affidavit of probable cause continues to be processed late Monday afternoon, the Palm Beach County Jail tells BocaNewsNow.com that Collier is being held on charges of cocaine possession and possession of drug equipment. Bond is set at $5,000 for the Cocaine, and $1,000 for the drug equipment. We don’t believe you can use your monthly minimum spend at Kings Point to post bond.
Collier, according to BocaNewsNow.com records, is the third resident arrest in 2024 — pacing just behind 2023’s record 22 arrests. The 2022 residential arrest count was 21.
Among the 2023 arrests: residents accused of drunk driving, drug dealing, sex offenses, battery, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more. Read our Kings Point Delray Beach coverage here. 2024 started with battery and resisting arrest charges for other residents.

There is no monthly minimum spend at Kings Point.
Kings Point has more than 7,000 units. If two people live in each unit, 14,000 people call Kings Point home. That means that actually a very small percentage – 0.1643% – of residents have been arrested from Kings Point and most of these arrests are for minor infractions. You are trying to make a story out of nothing. I lived at Kings Point. Security is tight. It is safe. Stop trying to make a story out of something that is not a problem. Wouldn’t it be better to discuss all of the good things the community does for its residents! Or the money raised in taxes from residents who do not have school aged children?
Thank you for articulating what I think about every time another article is written about Kings point petty crimes. It’s a HUGE community, the size of a town, and these articles are completely unfair, twisting the truth.
You consider drug dealing, prostitution, attempted murder minor infractions?
I have never seen such biased reporting as Bocanewsnowcom reports regarding Kings Point. They make it as if 22 arrests in a community of about 13,000 people is a constant crime spree. Bocanewsnow.com should be ashamed of their shoddy reporting. This site is run by hacks and should not be taken seriously.
Kings point has not been screening applications for new residents for past 2 years. The crimes have started around that time. We need new applications checked thoroughly. We need background information asap.
I don’t know where that person gets her information from! Before posting false information she should get facts! First off, there are approximately 91 associations in KP, 7200 units, all applicants are vetted! Some residents sneak in underage folks, if neighbors that see something suspicious they should report it to there management company! Instead, they take a back seat because they don’t want to get involved, let the other guy rat the offender out! One good thing about these folks, they thrive on gossip and they love to complain about everything and spread rumors then hide behind there door!
