DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The criminal element issue in Kings Point Delray Beach continues, with the fourth arrest of 2024 now on the books. With 26 arrests since the start of 2023 and nearly 50 since the start of 2022, Kings Point we believe is the leader of senior living community arrests in South Palm Beach County.
Tyler O’Clair of 218 Normandy E spent part of Wednesday in the Palm Beach County Jail. He’s charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. Bond was set at $3000. The arrest report continues to be processed Thursday. It was not immediately clear where O’Clair was arrested, what he is specifically accused of doing, or how police were led to believe he’s a suspect. It was also unclear why a 26-year-old is calling a senior living community “home.”
O’Clair’s arrest comes on the heels of the arrest of Glenn Collier just days ago. That Kings Point Delray Beach resident was charged with cocaine possession.
BocaNewsNow.com’s unofficial count reveals that 21 Kings Point Delray Beach residents were arrested in 2022. The count in 2023 landed at 22. There have been at least four arrests in the first six weeks of 2024.
Among the 2023 and 2024 arrests: residents accused of drug possession, battery, drunk driving, sex offenses, drug distribution, a man who allegedly shot at someone for walking their dog on a golf course, a woman who resisted arrest, and more. Read our Kings Point Delray Beach coverage here.
