BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you’re having a problem with your cell phone or internet service Thursday, you’re not alone. Major outages are being reported nationwide, including South Florida.
AT&T appears to be the hardest hit with hundreds of thousands of customers reporting outages of both cell phone service and home internet service. TMobile and Verizon customers are also being affected. It was not immediately clear if the outages are related. The companies have not issued statements as of 7:30 a.m.
If your cell service is down but home internet is up, you are encouraged to set your phone for “wifi calling.” That will route your phone calls over the internet and is included in most cellphone plans at no additional cost.

It’s odd that all 3 major internet/phone providers are all down at once. Nationwide.
