BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Most homeowners in Palm Beach County pay HOA or country club dues and fees without question. They entered into agreements when purchasing a home. They live up to those agreements. But Amy J. Blake apparently is not one of those people. The Broken Sound Country Club says she owes more than $100,000. Broken Sound is now suing to recover what it says is its money.
In the legal complaint obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Broken Sound says Blake — who has a Citrus County address — also owned 2225 NW 53rd Street in Boca Raton before selling it in December of 2021 for just $70,000. But the sale didn’t absolve her of funds allegedly owed to Broken Sound Country Club. The amount: $118,308.26.
Broken Sound says Blake made sporadic payments starting in April of 2018, but continued to rack up assessments, fees, and “house charges” — charges she presumably billed to her account at restaurants and other venues in the Broken Sound Country Club.

Attorneys for Broken Sound filed suit in Palm Beach County Circuit Court. There was no response immediately filed by Amy Blake.
