The water main is now fixed, but water quality may remain an issue. Palm Beach County issued this advisory to BocaNewsNow.com.
Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) has repaired the water main as of 1:00 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024. Water pressure is restored, though residents will remain under a boil water notification in the Lucerne Lakes 2 Subdivision.
Addresses Under Boil Water Precautions:
Pine Manor Drive; Pine Air Drive; Pine Branch Drive;
Lucerne Villa Lane; Pine Park Drive North, South & West;
Pine Park Circle; Pine Green Run; Lucerne Villa Lane;
Pine Garden Lane; Pine Lake Court; Lisa Drive.
The break occurred at approximately 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, when an outside contractor conducting construction work in the area accidentally ruptured the main. All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic as needed. PBCWUD crews will remain on-site as clean-up will be ongoing until further notice.
Wastewater collection services are not impacted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for their patience and understanding as we complete the repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
