Crash Slowing Traffic On Turnpike Near Glades Road

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A crash in the area of the Glades Road off-ramp from the Florida Turnpike is slowing southbound traffic around 9 a.m. Tuesday. The crash was first reported around 8:40.

Multiple cars are apparently involved. There was no immediate word on injuries. Traffic is slowing for what seems to be several miles approaching the scene.

Making the matter more challenging for motorists is what also appears to be a disabled truck just before the area of the crash.

Exiting at Boynton Beach Boulevard or Atlantic Avenue, traveling south on U.S. 441 or Lyons Road, then rejoining the turnpike south of Glades Road may be a viable alternate. Check FL511.com for the latest.
