Cops Seek Tips Following Lake Worth Crash.

LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man is dead and the search is on for a suspect following a deadly crash near I-95 and 10th Avenue in Lake Worth early Tuesday morning.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says the victim, Zwaguan Harris, died a short time after the crash. He lived in Riviera Beach. Investigators say he was riding a motorcycle when he was struck by the driver of a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with license place QLQA74. We are publishing the narrative of the incident, below. Note that “Vehicle 1” is the Chevy, “Vehicle 2” is the motorcycle.
“V-2 was traveling eastbound on 10th Ave N stopped at the intersection with the I-95 southbound on ramp. V-1 was traveling eastbound on 10th Ave N approaching the rear of V-2. V-1 failed to stop for V-2. The front of V-1 impacted the rear of V-2. D-2 was ejected from V-2 and came to rest in the inside lane east of the intersection. V-2 came to rest in the outside lane east of the intersection.
V-1 fled the scene eastbound on 10th Ave N and then southbound on H Street N.
D-2 was transported to St Mary’s Medical Center where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. V-1 was identified and located. Parts found at the scene match missing pieces from V-1. The damage to V-1 is consistent to this collision.”
