PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that Kylee Renee Ayana-Jamile of the 23000 block of Atlantic Circle in Boca Raton was “unlawfully entering the roadway while displaying abnormal behavior. Ayana-Jamile was wearing non-reflecting clothing (black shirt and jean shorts) and sat down int he outside turn lane of westbound Palmetto Park Road.”

Around 9:42 p.m., “the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on Palmetto Park Road within the outside left turn lane, approaching the intersection of State Road 7 on a green traffic signal. As the Chevy neared the intersection, the driver was unable to observe Ahana-Jamile in time to avoid a collision. As the collision ensued, the driver of the Silverado applied the brakes, however, the front of the Silverado struck Ayana-Jamile, causing her to travel under the vehicle.”

Kylee Renee Ahana-Jamile was pronounced dead on the scene. Police say drugs and/or alcohol are a factor in her death. The driver of the Silverado is not accused of doing anything wrong.
