Woman Shot. Investigation Underway.

At 2:11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, Delray Beach police responded to a report of a shooting at a parking garage (95 NE 1st Avenue). Upon arrival, officers learned there had been a large gathering on the top level of the parking garage.
During the gathering, shots were fired. Subsequent investigations revealed that an adult woman, an attendee at the gathering, sustained a gunshot wound to her ankle. She was transported to the hospital by friends, and her injuries are non-life threatening.
The Delray Beach Police Department is actively investigating this incident. At present, the shooter remains at large, and law enforcement is working hard to apprehend the individual responsible. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact Detective Kyle Kinney at 561-243-7828.
Maybe this will decrease the rent at the new Aura Apartments on Atlantic, West of 95.
