A teen was stabbed in Coconut Creek Saturday afternoon.

UPDATE 9:33 a.m. Sunday, April 21, 2024: The search continued for several hours in the woods behind the park. It was not immediately clear if a suspect was captured, however, police say this was not random which suggests the attacker is known. The victim was airlifted to Broward Medical Center and remains in treatment.

A suspect apparently fled on a bicycle.

The teen was airlifted by Trauma Hawk to a regional trauma center. Police presence remains high in the area
