DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Another Kings Point Delray Beach resident was hauled off to jail, making it the twelfth arrest of a resident of the senior living community this year, and the 32nd since the start of 2023. Kings Point Delray Beach sends more people to jail than any other senior living community in South Palm Beach County, according to informal BocaNewsNow.com records.
The latest: Ryan Narron. While at age 35, seemingly too young to live in a senior community, he joins several other residents who also seem to be too young to call Kings Point home. Read our previous Kings Point reporting for more.
Narron is accused of operating a vehicle while his license is suspended. What stood out to police in Boca Raton is that Narron has been told multiple times before to stop driving. He apparently won’t. Read the narrative from the arrest reported filed by the arresting officer:
“On 5/30/2024, at approximately 0835 hours, I was traveling northbound on Federal Hwy (US-1) approaching NW 40th St. I was directly behind a white Lincoln (FL 80DCDV). A record check on the tag revealed that it was currently unassigned and should not be attached to the Lincoln. I activated my emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle where it came to a complete stop at 4125 N Federal Hwy. I walked up to the driver’s side window and identified the driver by name and D. O. B. as Ryan Narron. Narron advised he could not provide me a DI as it is currently suspended due to a DUI.
A record check on Narron revealed that he has been continuously suspended since 2022 due to a DUI. Since 2022 Narron has received several additional suspensions including a criminal failure to pay. Based upon the above information Narron did commit the offense of FSS 322.34 (2B) by operating on a suspended driver’s license with knowledge. Narron was placed under arrest at 0847 and transported to Palm Beach County Jail.”
Narron was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on $1000 bond. A court date is pending. Kings Point Delray Beach, on Atlantic Avenue, has sent residents of all ages to jail over the past few years for DUI, sex assaults, drug possession, weapons charges, and more. I don’t know why your publication is obsessed with slandering Kings Point in Delray Beach, but it is nauseating.
You all act as if there’s nothing but criminals in KP? Seriously there are THOUSANDS of residents so what’s the percentage??? .oo2. Please report better news
Kings Point and their residents consist of white trash and portray the worst Florida has to offer.
Living in Kings Point for over three years, I find that there are many people here under the age of 55 living here and no one does anything about i. We have a young couple in Piedmont H who had a baby while residing here and now that baby is 7-8 months old. Another one is a young man of 42 in Burgundy I who lives here also and harasses the old ladies. No one can get him out. Keep up reporting about the arrests here. Maybe one day the Board will stop it
The Board will have to amend their by-laws, which allow persons under fifty-five years of age, provided the owner(s) is of age. It’s the same with other places, being an issue at Boca’s Century Village for years (absentee owners leasing units to university students), but has probably become a bigger issue in recent years with housing prices, HOAs with limited revenue, and different housing preferences of Boomers and Generation X.
It’s VERY Obvious that Boca News has a grudge against Kings Point.
The constant kings point bashing really needs to stop! There are 12,000 residents here. the percentage of crime is very low. I think your news agency would be sued for slander!
It seems Boca News is OBSESSED WITH DOGS, KINGS POINT AND BAD PARKING!! They should be more Professional and report Real News!
