ALLEGATION: Massive Fraud. Just Extradited To Broward County After Arrest In California.

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Noted rapper Sean Kingston remains in the Broward County Jail early Monday morning following his apprehension in California. Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, was arrested on a Broward County warrant after a SWAT team raided his home in Southwest Ranches, near Pembroke Pines. He was extradited to Broward County on Sunday.
Prosecutors say Kingston and his mother were engaged in a massive fraud scheme. They are accused of receiving high value products — everything from jewelry to a home theater — but not paying.
Kingston (Anderson) is charged with, “Organized scheme to defraud, obtain property over 50,000 by fraud,” “Fraud or impersonate another without consent (to obtain) $50,000 or more,” “Grand theft between $20,000 and $100,000,” “Fraud, insufficiency funds (by) check greater than $150,” “Grand Theft in the first degree, $100,000 or more,” “Fraud or use of another person’s ID without consent (to obtain) $50,000 or more,” and several other similar charges.
Kingston was required to surrender his passport. He remains held on $100,000 bond as of 7:30 a.m. Monday.
