BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The gross among us were out and about over the holiday weekend, enjoying their independence in being, well, rude. Boca Rudeton is back for a Monday and highlighting some of the most disgusting people we’ve seen in quite some time.

We start with the woman above in the Starbucks at Mizner Park. She is feeding her dog whipped cream, according to our tipster. Food comments and thoughts aside, we ask why Starbucks is letting this happen. The dog has no business being in Starbucks — a restaurant that should be prohibited from letting non-service dogs (not emotional support, but actual service dogs) inside. Yet the brilliant baristas apparently have a latte else to do. It seems to us that keeping the restaurant clean — and clean from people serving dogs whipped cream — should be at the top of that list.

parking Atlantic dunes July 4
Boca Rudeton Parking! These are cars are parked at Atlantic Dunes Park on A1A on July 4th. Right under a sign that says “no parking.”

We continue with parking at Atlantic Dunes park on A1A in Delray Beach. The photo above was taken on July 4th, where our tipster wonders if freedom also means freedom from following the rules. We note that parking restrictions remained in effect on July 4th, and there’s a notable sign that specifically says “no parking” right where these cars are. We can’t see all the license plates, but here are the ones we notice: FL JGEB62 on White Mercedes; FL IV20YG on a Ford; FL 20CBII on a Hyundai Palisade. We don’t know if these people will receive tickets now that their license plates are out in the open, but it seems they don’t car. They parked out in the open, in a place where they were not supposed to be.

Dog Doris’ Market Boca Raton
This rude woman has placed her dog in a shopping cart at Doris’ market in Boca Raton. People tend to place fresh food in these shopping carts.

At Doris’ Market in Boca Raton, dogs continue to be a problem. Nothing says “fresh food” like a dog in a cart… a cart where many people would normally place their fresh food. If you’re interested in purchasing fresh food, we suggest you stay away from Doris’ Market, where your fresh food may very well be placed where this dog — or another dog — was sitting, and God knows doing what else.

Dog-Costco-Boca-raton-July-4
Why does this woman need her dog in Costco Boca Raton?

For our next Boca Rudeton nominee, we turn to Costco in Boca Raton, where the dogs are back. We don’t know why this woman feels it necessary to have her dog in a store that sells food, but she apparently does. It seems she could have left her dog at home and found it easier to shop. But folks who bring dogs into stores tend to not be the swiftest out there, at least in our opinion.

Cyber-Truck-Boca-Raton-Parking
A reader wants to know why this CyberTruck needed two spaces at Bowlero in Boca Raton. We think it’s a fair question.

And the Tesla Cyber Truck above apparently couldn’t park in just one space. Kind of amazing considering all the technology that is supposed to work on the vehicle. We don’t know why the driver of this CyberTruck, with FL license plate 71DTNZ needed multiple spaces at Bowlero in Boca Raton, but we also don’t know why the driver needs a CyberTruck.

So who is our winner for this round of Boca Rudeton? It’s unquestionable the woman feeding her dog whipped cream at Starbucks in Mizner Park. It raises so many questions. Does the dog need whipped cream? Does the woman feeding her dog whipped cream need whipped cream herself? Is this considered a good diet for a dog? Is this possibly animal cruelty? And most importantly, why oh why is that dog in Starbucks? Lady feeding a dog whipped cream in the Mizner Parker Starbucks, you are our Boca Rudeton winner! Congratulations! You win the “BocaNewsNow.com practical guide to nutrition and common sense.” We haven’t published it yet, but if we do, you are top of the list for a signed first edition. Way to go!

  1. Dog/cat owners do not see that their “beloved” is a dog/cat and that there are people who do not think so. Store owners do not enforce the rule that their store is not a place for walking dogs/cats, which they themselves declare in many cases with a warning at the entrance to the store.

    1. I usually agree with the Boca Rudeton and perhaps the dog doesn’t belong in Starbucks (although if she tied it up outside while she went in people would complain about that as well) but fyi Starbucks has always offered a Puppucino which is a cup of whipped cream for dogs & a healthy treat for them.

  2. Dear Miss Busybody,
It’s called a pup cup. It’s a special treat offered to all dogs that stop at Starbucks.
Would you rather that the pets owner leave him/her in the car in this brutal heat?
It seems you are on a mission to find things to complain about. Maybe you should use that time to do something helpful to our community. Have a nice day!

    1. I agree owners should take their dogs with them rather than leave them in a hot car. The people who write these items are the rude ones with no lives. Leave boca alone and work on ur own Karen’s.

    2. The dog should be left at home lady, what part of this is so hard for so many to understand? It’s entitled folks like yourself who basically are the real problem here. We have laws on the books for a reason and living in a civilized society, we are supposed to follow them. Again, what part of this concept do you not understand??? I understand wanting to take our dogs with us at times. Heck, I used to take our pup to our schools football games up north but, they were held outside and others did the same. Best of all, my pup loved going. But I knew where not to bring him and didn’t go to these places. So really, this concept isn’t difficult for most folks to get!!!

  3. First off the lady with her dog in Starbucks. It bothers me that the dogs is a Pit Bull, whom is not always a tame animal. They can be triggered by anything, and go into attack mode. This bothers me more than anything. Yes, dogs are not supposed to be in places that sell food. How about safety. I know some pit bulls are safe, but a large amount have proven that they can’t be trusted.

  4. I wish that people who submit photos of dogs in grocery stores and restaurants would include a full face photo of the owner —although they obviously don’t care about rules, maybe the embarrassment of having their faces published will have these thoughtless pet owners think twice before bringing their pet into a store. Also upset that the stores do nothing to call out these people which is why they keep doing it! The thought of a dog’s hair and whatever in my shopping cart basket is disgusting!

    1. You do realize himans have hair too and most likely theres a human hair in your shopping cart. Chances are much higher of that then a dog. Maybe they should keep all the humans out as well. You can come take a pic of me and my service dog anytime

      1. Your comment makes no sense. The topic is bringing dogs into restaurants and supermarkets, not human hair to dog hair. Last I looked, a supermarket is for humans to shop at, not a place to bring our animals! So, what’s your point her Brad? Do you not know the topic we’re discussing here or what? Did you actually read the article in the first place? I suggest in the future, please read & understand before you make such a silly comment!

  5. Boca Rudeton is probably the winner of the Boca Rudeton Award. I can’t believe this publishing is allowed – it makes Boca News look so petty. Boca Ruderon is the RUDEST part of living in Boca. People should love people – not blast them for living. Was anyone harmed by these people. No. Do Better. Spread positive energy- not negative.

  6. I am shaking my head right now. The world continues to go crazy! Why am I reading comments of people defending dogs in places where it is illegal to be? I would be scared of that dog in Starbucks!! Furthermore, I would not want to put my groceries in that grocery cart after that dog’s fetid a*ss was sitting on it! People who defend crimes are shocking to me… People continue to be more and more and more entitled everyday which is why the USA is going downhill. People need to care and obey the law, not constantly think they are above the law!

That being said, my best guess why Starbucks’ employees don’t anything when a dog enters? 1) They are not paid enough to be harassed by customers and or threatened by these entitled dimwits who often fly off the handle and in many cases get physical with employees. It is management’s job to step in here.

Prayers for world peace and common sense.
