Temple Leader Sends Inflammatory Email To BocaNewsNow.com. Why?

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Temple Emet in Boynton Beach apparently has a problem with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Moments after BocaNewsNow.com — like the rest of the legitimate media — alerted Sunday afternoon that President Biden had dropped out of the race, Ed Kochman sent a scathing email to the BocaNewsNow.com news desk.
Kochman seemingly prides himself in representing both Torat Emet and Jewish causes across South Florida. Here is his signature line:
It’s what he wrote above that signature line that got our attention: ”Closed minded, head buried in the sand, ultra liberals like yourself have not woken up to the fact that today’s Dumb-o-Crap Party is NOT the Democratic Party of our Parents, and Grandparents.” He was apparently responding to our response, asking if he had a problem with facts, when he sent a strongly worded message (with the signature line, above) telling us he wanted to be removed from the free email newsletter that he signed up for.
When he sent the follow-up message, published above, we asked Kochman if that was the official position of Torat Emet and the other Jewish organizations that he promotes. He did not respond. We found it surprising that he would send such an email with a Temple logo and all of his information in the signature line. That traditionally means that the author is representing those organizations with his comments above. (UPDATE: someone claiming to be a Temple representative sent an email to BocaNewsNow.com early Monday, affirming that Mr. Kochman does not represent the views of the organization).
BocaNewsNow.com also received a strongly worded email from Barbara Schlossman. She apparently moved to Delray Beach from Syosset, NY. Schlossman wrote: “Take me off your crooked sick news. I don’t want to ever hear from you again.”
What set these people off? Apparently the irony being reported worldwide — irony that takes no political position. Kamala Harris is a former prosecutor. Donald Trump, as of this minute but certainly pending appeal, is a convicted felon. These are facts. Facts that apparently Ed Kochman of Boynton Beach and Barbara Schlossman of Delray Beach do not like. Share your thoughts, below.

You seem to be very deeply misinformed–President Biden is and has been a steadfast friend to Jewish Americans and is an extremely strong supporter of Israel.
Jerry, you do not know how right you are. I am an Israeli citizen. My three sons live in Tel Aviv. No American president has done as much as Joe Biden to provide for the defense of Israel in funds, armaments, ammunition, and international support as President Biden. If you have any doubts, just ask the friends and families of the American citizen hostages held in Gaza. They will tell you that President Biden and Secretary of State Blinken have communicated with them and supported them more than the leaders of the Israeli government. Those who do not understand Hebrew cannot listen to the Israeli news nor read the Israeli press. All their information comes from the western press with Fox News leading the charge.

Kockman stated that the Democratic Party is not a same as the one our parents and grandparents supported. Ya know what? Our holidays are not those of our elders either. Same could be said for the Republican Party as well.
I have been around a lot longer than most of you, being 80 yrs. old. I have never seen such a screwed up country, as we have had starting with Obama. And what is more sickening, is that people vote for idiots like him and Biden. Just look what they have done to our country. I don’t care what Trump did in his business, or personal life. All I care is what he can and will do to straighten out our country. MAGA. FORGET THE DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN OR INDEPENDENT STATUS YOU MIGHT HAVE, just think what is right or wrong in this country now. Example: boys turning into girls and playing in sports with them, going into the bathroom with them/ locker rooms. It is sickening to think what has happened. Apologize for calling former President Trump a convicted felon when he is one? Really? Are we allowed to say that he lost the 2020 election, which was the fairest (and most closely scrutinized) in American history, or would we have to apologize for saying that too? How about the fact that he conspired to overturn the results of that election, or that his followers stormed Congress in an attempt to stop certification? Are we allowed to say that without having to apologize?
Alan Goldstein finds that referring to Donald Trump as a convicted felon is very offensive to those who intend to vote for him. But newspaper reporting is all about reporting the facts. Is it not the fact that a jury convicted Trump on 34 felon counts? Should the media forget about that inconvenient truth because some readers fine it offensive? And what about those who do not intend to vote for Trump? What all Americans should find offensive is that a former president and active presidential candidate has been convicted on 34 felony counts.
You do realize, Donald Trump is in FACT a felon, right? They don’t need to apologize. Maybe rethink voting a felon into office.

There is no such thing as the DEMOCRATIC party. It has long been the DEMOCRAT party. The mispronunciation of the party’s name is just one symptom of what has happened to the party. They used to be representative of the people. Today, it’s a party of outliers and those who want to change right from wrong and live only by their own moral relativism. Are you not aware both in the mid-term and general election -The Democratic party flipped more congressional seats and won the popular vote compared to Republican party.
