Boca Raton Man Charged With Stalking, Now Jailed

A Boca Raton man is facing multiple stalking charges following his arrest by PBSO.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man remains in the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday afternoon after his arrest on multiple charges, including stalking. Matthew Avoletta was taken into custody Tuesday night.

While the arrest report continues to be processed, BocaNewsNow.com has learned from the Palm Beach County Jail that Avoletta is charged with multiple crimes that he allegedly had already been ordered not to commit. Avoletta is accused of two counts of “aggravated stalking — follow, harass, cyberstalk after injunction,” and two counts of “contempt of court, violate injunction of protection against domestic violence.”

Avoletta was arrested Tuesday evening and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 8 p.m. on Tuesday. He remains held on $25,000 bond as of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to records from the Palm Beach County Jail.
