DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Congratulations to Kings Point Delray Beach. The senior living community just logged its 40th arrest of a resident since the start of 2023, and the 20th arrest of a resident this year. BocaNewsNow.com knows of no other senior living community in South Palm Beach County that sends so many residents to jail.
The latest: Linda Petti. BocaNewsNow.com reported on Linda Petti on Sunday, when a warrant was issued for her arrest. Petti, according to court records, didn’t show for a hearing on a moving violations for “operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended, cancelled, or revoked.” She was, according to police, driving without a license when she allegedly ran a stop sign on July 2nd. Petti was ordered to appear in court on August 1st but didn’t show up. A judge issued a warrant for her arrest.
Petti, 72, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Monday afternoon. She remains held on $2,000 bond early Tuesday morning. Her latest charge: “failure to appear.” Petti lists the Normandy Lane section of Kings Point as her current home address.
Petti is no stranger to the court system in Palm Beach County. She’s faced multiple eviction and landlord-tenant related lawsuits. She joins a record-setting list of accused Kings Point Senior Living Community residents jailed over recent years, including those charged with sexual battery, sexual assault, drug possession, drug sale and or distribution, DUI, domestic abuse, child abuse, weapons violations, and more.
