His Social Media Reads Like A Satire Of Conspiracy Theories. But There’s No Indication It’s A Joke.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach Post, the news source that you have to pay to read, endorsed Boca Raton Attorney Forrest Scott Freedman for State Attorney. While we note that the current endorsements from the Post are bipartisan — there’s one for the Republican primary and there’s one for voters who are Democrats — one has to wonder if the Palm Beach Post actually researched Freedman before suggesting that any voter give him the nod.
Aside from the disturbing photo above (you can decide which part is disturbing) there are posts — like the posts below — that permeate his social media accounts. Are they concerning? You decide. Should they lead to a newspaper’s endorsement? We think not. When a candidate is promoting conspiracy theories on either side of the aisle, maybe it’s time for a newspaper that likes to believe it’s important to say nothing.
Is the Palm Beach Post just looking for publicity by promoting someone like Freedman? We don’t know. Did the “editorial board” actually research his social media accounts? We don’t know. Is having anyone with radical, conspiracy theorist views in a position like State Attorney a problem for Palm Beach County? We say yes. There are other Republican options that don’t spend time blowing a Donald Trump toy.

Your line in the story about “blowing a Donald Trump toy” is a disgusting comment and shows just how bad and biased a reporter you are! Go and take some classes on journalism. Maybe you’ll find out that a good journalist is someone who writes about politics and you cannot tell which side of the aisle their views favor, unlike your prejudiced opinions!

His social media does read like a satire–but his accomplishments as an attorney and prosecuter are impressive. He has experience in private and public life–is compassionate with first offenders,pledges to protect our businesses, will be tough on illegal immigrants and repeat offenders and will strive to make our state and streets safer. He acknowedges that Aronberg has done a good job and pledges to work to do even better.
Does any other candidate have a better resume?

The quality of the candidates in both parties have declined. Nothing wrong with having the thoughts mentioned in some of his posts. But posting them seems quite juvenile. He needs to keep his thoughts to himself. Another reason to register as an independent. Most Democrats are no better. Democrats post some pretty twisted stuff. Like Walz saying pedophilia should be legalized. Really. Any in your face posts are a bad idea. I want no part of anyone like that in either party. Pretty bad when no one is worth voting for. I loathe both parties lately. Gone are the days when people voted for both parties based on the quality of a candidate. When I was a child I did not know if my Parents and Grandparents were Democrats or Republicans. Their votes were based on the person. Not the party.

Hi Ivy. I understand that the media can be difficult to navigate. I was excited to see Walz tapped for VP, especially since so many of his constituents adore him and he’s done a lot of good in Minnesota. Your claim alarmed me, so I did some sleuthing. This claim is unequivocally false. Here’s some context: “The bill in question was an amendment to the state’s civil rights law that edited the definition of “sexual orientation” to remove the inclusion of identities “not traditionally associated with one’s biological male or female traits.” Several legal scholars noted that the law did not protect pedophiles from discrimination.” Headlines are meant to be inflammatory and eye catching, so I always recommend checking your sources.
I don’t think Freedman is the candidate for me to support but I do agree with much of the sentiment that you apparently find offensive! Trump 2024!

Mike, you are very naive to think that there was no conspiracy in the 2020 voting carried out by the Democrats. Just look now at what they are capable of as far as Biden goes. A total conspiracy by the back room Democrats against him in order to get an even stupider puppet in the White House under their control. That half wit, cackling, socialist didn’t get a single vote from you democrat voters, but there she is, “Your Nominee for President” …what a joke. You don’t have to like Trump personally, I certainly don’t. But who can run this country better, him or her? That’s all that matters!
