BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boynton Beach crashed into a tree and died. He was 92. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office shared the official report of Robert Stein’s death with BocaNewsNow.com. Here’s what we’ve learned:
Stein was driving a 2023 Chevy Equinox within the inner through-lane of westbound Boynton Beach Blvd., approaching the intersection of Lawrence Road on August 8th around 5:30 p.m. As vehicle ahead of Stein were slowing for the traffic signal, Stein failed to observe the traffic slowing in front of him.
Robert Stein, according to police, “made an abrupt lane change from the inner lane to the right, crossing the other two through-lanes, and going over the curb and sidewalk, onto the grass shoulder. Stein then began to turn left, where the Equinox impacte da large trees. The Equinox struck the tree with the passenger front, causing the Equinox to rotate clockwise to a final rest.”
Stein was transported from the scene to Delray Medical Center where he entered hospice care. Robert Stein was pronounced dead on August 14th at 3:37 p.m.

When will our cowardly politicians require mandatory license renewals and tests for the elderly?
