BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw is receiving a major award today — the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The award is being bestowed upon him in Boca Raton. While President Biden will not be in attendance, the Sheriff will receive a signed certificate from the President as part of the ceremony which will recognize individuals from Florida. The honorees come from various categories which includes students, business leaders, clergy, civil rights leaders, musicians, politicians, and professional athletes, all of whom are being acknowledged for their exceptional contributions to community service.

Sheriff Bradshaw will receive a Presidential Letter and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award signed by the 46th President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, Jr. This event celebrates individuals who have dedicated themselves to community service, emphasizing its historical and social importance.

This honor holds a special meaning for me, as it reflects not only my personal commitment but the collective effort and dedication of our team at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. I am thankful to President Biden for this honor and remain committed to our mission of serving and protecting with honor”, said Sheriff Ric Bradshaw.

The President’s Volunteer Service Award Program was created by executive order from President George W. Bush to recognize volunteers who devote hundreds of hours each year to assisting others. The award is given to individuals, families, and organizations throughout the United States, with different recognition levels including Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the President’s Call to Service Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors those who have contributed over 4,000 hours of extraordinary service.
