UPDATE: As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, here are the official results from the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. Please view the “real time” results available here. There appear to be no major changes from the numbers we reported Tuesday evening, although the Supervisor of Elections is providing results for all races in the region — we selected highlights.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Most of the vote count is in as of 8:15 p.m. and here’s what we know about election results from the Palm Beach County Supervisors of Elections who is reporting 21 percent of those eligible to vote in Palm Beach County actually voted.

UNITED STATES SENATOR: Rick Scott easily wins the primary with 85 percent of the vote. Keith Gross logged 8.5 percent. Jon Columbus recorded 6.24 percent of the vote.

REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS: [REPUBLICAN] District 21 — Brian Mast beats Rick Wiles, 85 percent to 15 percent in the Republican primary. In District 22, Dan Franzese is the winner with 52 percent, compared to Andrew Gutmann with 25 percent and Deborah Adeimy with 22 percent. In District 23, it’s neck and neck between Robert Weinroth with 31.17 percent and Joseph Kaufman with 31.17 percent. Darlen Cerezo Swaffar logged 17.95 percent.

STATE ATTORNEY: [REPUBLICAN] Sam Stern records 62.86 percent of the vote while Forrest Freedman logs 37.14 percent.

SHERIFF: [REPUBLICAN] Michael Gauger easily wins with 53.53 percent against Lauro Diaz with 46.46 percent.

U.S. SENATOR [DEMOCRAT] — Debbie Mucarsel-Powell wins in a landslide, 71.12 percent to her closest competitor, Stanley Campbell with 16.58 percent. No one else came close.

STATE ATTORNEY [DEMOCRAT] — Alexcia Cox wins easily with 64.32 percent, versus Gregg Lerman with 18.3 percent, and Craig Williams with 17.3 percent.

PUBLIC DEFENDER [DEMOCRAT] — Daniel Eisinger wins with 55.84 percent of the vote, versus Adam Frankel with 44.16 percent.

SHERIFF [DEMOCRAT] — Ric Bradshaw logs a win with 60.79 percent while Alex Freeman get 39.21 percent of the vote.

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS [DEMOCRAT] — Varisa Dass wins with 49.42 percent.

COUNTY COURT JUDGE: Lourdes Casanova leads with 37.87 percent of the vote against Jean Middleton with 33.79 percent. Douglas Leifert records 28.33 percent.

REFERENDUM: Voters say “yes,” there should be an authority for lawmakers to grant tax exemptions to businesses. 62.13 percent of voters voted yes, wile 37.87 voted no.
