BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There are two systems southeast of Florida again being watched by the National Hurricane Center — one with a 50-percent chance of development as of early Friday morning. Neither presents an immediate threat to land and it’s too soon to know if either will become an issue for anyone.

Here is the Friday morning update from the NHC:

Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 AM EDT Fri Aug 30 2024. For the North Atlantic… Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Eastern Tropical Atlantic: Another tropical wave just west of the coast of Africa is currently associated with an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some slow development of this system is possible through the middle portion of next week as it moves slowly to the west-northwest or northwest over the Eastern Tropical Atlantic. * Formation chance through 48 hours…low…near 0 percent. Formation chance through 7 days…low…20 percent.
