BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A man observed driving doughnuts in a Dodge Durango in east Boca Raton was taken into custody after he parked in a handicapped spot at a nearby CVS. It wasn’t the handicapped parking that led to the jailing of Hasan Miclescu, but it seemingly added to the “duh” of the word “Floriduh” that often associated with alleged criminals who do allegedly stupid things in front of cops.
BocaNewsNow.com obtained the arrest report Saturday morning. Here’s what police wrote after taking Miclescu into custody:

“On 8/29/2024, at approximately 2020 hours, I was in the area of S Federal Hwy and SE Mizner Blvd when I observed a white Dodge Durango (FL tag – RHCJ84) doing doughnuts in the northwest corner of the parking lot of 520 S Federal Hwy. I entered the parking lot from the north entrance off of SE Mizner Blvd as the Dodge Durango completed the naneuver and began traveling southbound through the parking lot. The Dodge Durango then pulled into a Handicap parking space located directly in front of the CVS located at this address and I observed a white male subject wearing a black t-shirt, white shorts, and black sneakers exiting the driver seat. This subject later identified himself as Adrian Miclescu. I also observed another white male wearing a black Reebok t-shirt, black shorts, and off-white slides standing outside of the driver door as he yelled at the driver of the vehicle in a foreign language.
This subject was later identified via WA DI as Hasan Miclescu and he advised that he was upset with Adrian for moving over to the driver’s seat and doing doughnuts in the parking lot while he was inside of the store. Adrian later confired that this was in fact what had occurred and what I had witnessed. It should be noted that the doughnuts completed by Adrian caused a circular skid-mark pattern of rubber on the driving surface of the parking lot and the area where Adrian completed the maneuver smelled like burnt rubber caused by the tires heating up from friction while the tires spun as he completed the doughnut.
Additionally, the maneuver took over the entire portion of the parking lot intended for vehicular through traffic and therefore blocked and did not allow for the regular flow of traffic during the time in which Adrian was completing the maneuver.
Based on my observations, and the totality of the circumstances, I developed probable cause to charge Adrian Miclescu with Stunt Driving per F. S. S. 316.191(2a). Miclescu was placed under arrest and transported to BRPD booking for post arrest processing and later turned over to PBSO at Palm Beach County Jail.“
Adrian Miclescu, whose home address is provided as Abigail Drive in Spring Hill, remains locked up Saturday morning. Bond is set at $1000.
