PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Palm Beach County man is facing a murder charge Sunday following a Saturday attempted homicide in Royal Palm Beach. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office issued this advisory to BocaNewsNow.com mid-day Sunday about the arrest of Johnny Jarrell:
On Saturday, August 31, 2024, at approximately 6:45 pm, deputies and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Sandpiper Ave, Royal Palm Beach. Upon arrival an adult male was located suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Deputies located Johnny Jarrell a short distance from the residence. He was arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder. He is currently residing in the Palm Beach County Jail with NO Bond.

There was no information released as of mid-day Sunday from PBSO about the victim, what led to the shooting, how many shots were fired, or whether the victim knew the alleged attempted killer. We expect a full update once the affidavit of probable cause is processed by the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts.
