BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two people are dead in what police with the City of Boca Raton are calling a “murder-suicide.” The City of Boca Raton issued a statement Tuesday afternoon after multiple requests regarding the incident that occurred Monday night.
Last night, around 10:00 p.m., a man and woman were found deceased in their apartment after the woman called a family member shortly beforehand and said her husband wanted to kill her. The family member could hear a disturbance in the background while on the phone and immediately responded to the residence, along NE 45th Street, with other relatives.
After arriving at the residence, a family member contacted Boca Raton Police.
Boca Raton Police officers forced entry into the apartment and located the woman and her husband deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. A firearm was observed nearby. The preliminary investigation revealed the woman was shot by her husband before he turned the gun on himself.

Those who issue threats of violence should receive mandatory jail time. This has gotten out of hand.
Disrupting people’s lives is not a joke. And neither is being held hostage by a bully’s threat.
