BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Boca Raton man is being held in the Palm Beach County Sunday morning after his arrest Saturday evening by the Boca Raton Police Department. The Palm Beach County Jail tells BocaNewsNow.com that Andrew Elnomany was booked into lockup at 7:44 p.m.
According to records reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com, Elnomany is charged with one count of “Aggravated Battery — Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Victim.” The court record furthers the jail report to say “Offender Should Have Known Victim Is Pregnant.” It was not immediately clear relationship, if any, the suspect has with the alleged victim.
While the arrest report continues to be processed Sunday morning, the Palm Beach County Clerk of Courts reports that probable cause was found during an early Sunday “first appearance,” and the next court date will be October 7th, 2024. Bond was set Sunday at $5,000. That bond had not been paid as of records reviewed just after 10 a.m. Elnomany was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim, and alcohol and illegal drugs, as part bond being set.
Andrew Elnomany lives in the 800 block of Broken Sound Parkway in Boca Raton, according to the Palm Beach County Jail. He has had no other substantive interaction with the court system in Palm Beach County, according to court records.
