BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If the woman in the image above looks like someone you knew, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is asking you to call right away. Human remains were found in West Boynton Beach in May of 2023. Technology has just helped detectives craft an image of what the person may have looked like.
PBSO issued this statement to BocaNewsNow.com on Thursday about the new image and the ongoing investigation into the woman’s death:
”On May 11, 2023 Unidentified Human Remains were located in a wooded area at 8307 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, Florida. The remains appeared to have been there for a long period of time near a wooded area and landscaping business. The skeletal remains appear to be consistent with a white female between the ages of 40 and 70 years old with a height estimate of 5′ to 5′ 4″.
Clothing material located with the remains was a Gildan brand grey tank-top shirt and black pants. No jewelry or personal items were located. Her identification remains unknown. The PBSO Forensic Imaging Unit created a reconstruction sketch of what the woman may have looked like at the time of her death.”
