WELLINGTON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The people in the surveillance photos above are wanted. If you know who they are, please reach out to PBSO immediately. If you don’t know who they are, you should still read on to find out how some alleged Florida criminals aren’t that bright. And apparently don’t realize that large purchases on a credit card in 2024 almost always generate some sort of text alert.
Here’s what PBSO shared with BocaNewsNow.com Friday afternoon about the people above who are wanted for “Bank Jugging and Distraction Burglary.”
From PBSO: “These unknown suspects, distracted the victim, stole her credit card(s) then were captured attempting to purchase a Rolex watch for $ 18,000 at the Wellington Green Mall. Fortunately, a credit card authorization was sent to the victim’s phone to alert her, as she was unaware that her cards were stolen.
This incident occurred on September 24, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Anyone who can identify this suspect is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS or you can remain ANONYMOUS by downloading our new app “PBSO” for your Apple or Android Smart Phone and using the “See Something” feature. The app can also be downloaded from http://www.pbsoapp.com.” You can also always reach out to us — we’ll pass on the information.
