DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A community in Delray Beach was told to “shelter in place” on Thursday while agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a raid. The order was lifted later Thursday.
According to tips received by BocaNewsNow.com and later confirmed by the FBI, the raid was conducted Thursday morning in the Via Flora community of Delray Beach which is just north of Lake Ida Road and east of El Clair Ranch Road. Here is what the FBI shared with BocaNewsNow.com on Thursday:
”I can confirm that the FBI is conducting court-ordered law enforcement activity in the vicinity of that location,” said Special Agent James Marshall of the Miami field office. “The community is requested to follow the direction of PBSO. Two individuals were taking into custody. There is no further threat to public safety. No further information is available at this time.”
