The restaurant at Mizner Country Club was ordered closed on October 1st. An inspection on October 2nd led the restaurant being allowed to reopen, but a “high priority” violation was noted:
High Priority – – From initial inspection : High Priority – Heat strip failed to turn black to indicate the sanitization temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit was achieved on the dish surface and/or high temperature holding thermometer did not reach 160F. Discontinue use of dishmachine for sanitizing and set up manual sanitization until dishmachine is repaired. **Warning** – From follow-up inspection 2024-10-02: 6 days **Time Extended**
Another inspection on October 11th yielded no violations. The restaurant at 1610 Mizner Club Drive in Delray Beach (off Lyons Road) is operating normally.

It is inconceivable that a restaurant like Mizner can allow a pest infestation to go on. I mean, employees and managers can see the same cockroaches as the health inspector, and for the management not to take care of this and wait for the health inspector to close them, well, I am left, as usual in this situation, scratching my head. What in the heck are people thinking? or I should say not thinking.
