BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It is Election Day. All Palm Beach County public schools are closed today, November 5th, 2024. Many schools are used as polling places across the region. Voting hours in Palm Beach County run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Unlike early voting, you must vote in your precinct. That information in on your voter registration card. You may also look it up on the official Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website.

As of an hour before polls open, 64-percent of all eligible voters in Palm Beach County had already cast a vote through early voting and mail-in voting. There are 896,037 eligible voters in Palm Beach County. 575,318 have already voted. That’s 64.21 percent before Election Day even gets underway.

By the numbers: 225,215 democrats voted early, while 194, 652 republican voted early. Of note, 138,952 voters who say they have “no party affiliation” voted early.

When it comes to “type” of early voting: we know that 114,781 democrats took part in mail-in voting, while 58,393 republics submitted a mail-in vote. 110,434 democrats voted in-person. 136,259 republicans voted in-person. For voters with no affiliation: 51,767 voted early by mail, while 87,185 went to a polling place.
