Two People Injured In Friday Night Crash.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A 91-year-old man and a female passenger in her 80s were seriously injured Friday night when the man drove into a tree on Jog Road, just south of Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton.
Sources familiar with the emergency response tell BocaNewsNow.com that multiple people saw the crash take place around 7:30 p.m. and called for help. It was unclear if the driver suffered a medical condition, became confused, or if another vehicle was involved and fled the scene.
Boca Raton Fire Rescue and the Boca Raton Police Department responded. Rescuers found the couple conscious and alert — neither suffering from life threatening injuries. They were both transported to Delray Medical Center. Their identities have not been released.
While they were not technically trapped in the vehicle, both patients did require the assistance of Fire-Rescue professionals to remove them from their car. No one else was in the vehicle. The investigation continues.
