Francesca Cialone of NE 28th Street in Boca Raton was jailed. Here’s what happened, according to a police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com.
“The following incident occurred in the City of Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida: On December 8, 2024, Ofc. Cushnie and Ofc. Jones were working an off-duty detail at 8 E Atlantic Ave (Tin Roof). While working their detail, they were approached by three female subjects. The three females explained to Ofc. Cushnie and Ofc. Jones that there was a heavily intoxicated female and she needed assistance getting home. The females advised they did not know the female but since her cell phone battery die, the females helped her call her sister and her sister ordered her an Uber.
Officers made contact with the intoxicated female who was later identified as Francesca A. Cialone, 29, by her Florida DL. Officers stood by with Cialone while she waited for her Uber. As officers were standing by Cialone began to walk in the middle of the roadway.
Officers told Cialone to get out of the road. Cialone then walked towards the group of the three female subjects and began using profane language towards them.
When officers attempted to calm Cialone down she began being verbally aggressive and placing her fingers in Ofc. Cushnie and Jones’ face. Cialone was being belligerent and yelling which caused other patrons to stop what they were doing and look at Cialone.
Ofc. Jones and Cushnie attempted multiple times to deescalate and calm Cialone down but she proceeded to place her finger in officers face and lean her body into officers. At which point, Officers handcuffed Cialone to the rear. Upon my arrival, I smelled an alcoholic odor emitting from her mouth as well as her speech being extremely slurred. Based on the above stated facts there is probable cause to charge Francesca Cialone with Disorderly Intoxication in violation of FSS 856. 011(1).”
Cialone was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail around 3 a.m. on Sunday. She was released several hours later on $250 bond. A court date is pending.
