BOCA RUDETON: It’s Our Parking Edition, And Wow Are There Bad Parkers

Boca Raton. Delray Beach. Boynton Beach. Wellington. Our Tipsters Won’t Tolerate Elitist Drivers Who Seem To Think Rules Don’t Apply. To Them.

Why is this car parked in a no-parking spot at West Boca Medical Center? Welcome to Boca Rudeton for Sunday, December 15, 2024.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Just because you want to park illegally, don’t mean it’s legal to park illegally. That’s the message from several BocaNewsNow.com tipsters over the past week who focused on bad parkers in and around South Palm Beach County. We have one that also involves a dog. How is that possible? Read on…

We start with the photo above. It’s a car parked at West Boca Medical Center in a space where that car shouldn’t be parked. Our tipster says it’s overflow parking. Regardless of where on the lot it is, it is certainly not a legit space. If you know the driver of a Land Rover with Florida plate JYNF36, you may want to ask what they had to do to get a special law passed that permits them to park in a “no parking” spot.

The driver of the Audi with FL Plate RUPJ22 is, quite frankly, a horrible person. This is space at Costco in Boca Raton for people who need wheelchair access or walker access. It’s not Audi access.

We move on now to Costco in Boca Raton, where tipsters documented two cases of the Boca Elite parking in places where they were not entitled to park, no matter how entitled they believe they are. Let’s start with the Audi that is parking in a spot that is a special area to make sure people who need room for wheelchairs and walkers can do what they need to do. The driver of the Audi with Florida plate RUPJ22 clearly couldn’t care less. What is handicapped parking for some is Audi parking for this driver.

White diagnoal lines do not traditionally mean “it’s okay to park here.” In fact, they never mean “it’s okay to park here.” Unless you have a Chevy Traverse with Florida plate IQ458D. This comes from another tipster at the Boca Raton Costco.

Next up is this vehicle at Costco. Another driver parking in a spot that is not for them. We don’t know what’s challenging about white diagonal lines, but apparently these lines are challenging to interpret for the driver of this Chevy Traverse with Florida plate IQ45BD. Life is clearly challenging for some drivers in and around Boca Raton.

Shockingly, a Tesla with New Jersey plates (F91PAP) held up traffic in Mizner Park so the woman in the passenger seat could pet a dog near Restoration Hardware outlet.

We wrap this edition with this Tesla stopping illegally in front of the Restoration Hardware outlet in Mizner Park. After stopping to receive furniture — something we appreciate needs to be done due to the unfortunate parking situation for the store — the driver of this Tesla decided to just stay. Why? So the woman getting in the passenger seat could pet the dog that someone else was walking by with. For that, cars were largely unable to pass in the congested traffic that is already bad on a Sunday afternoon in Mizner Park. We’re shocked that something like this would be done by someone driving a Tesla with New Jersey plates — in this case, F91PAP.

So who is our winner? Let’s buy it in bulk! It’s the apparently horrible person driving the Audi with Florida plate RUPJ22. The person who parked in the no-parking area that is designated for wheelchairs, walkers, and legitimately mobility-impaired individuals who need space to get out of a vehicle and into a wheelchair or onto a walker. What does this driver win? We can’t give them a sense of entitlement — it seems they already have that. So how about temporary paralysis so they can understand the importance of leaving handicapped spaces — and adjacent areas — for those who are truly mobility impaired.

  1. Why don’t these people call the police? It’s a $350 fine to park a vehicle in those handicap ramp areas with or without a handicap placard it doesn’t matter they’re not parking spaces and they are handicap access for ramps. I guarantee one or two fines and they’ll get the message especially in Boca they come right out. They have people that handle it completely. by the way, if they’re using somebody else’s placard to park in a handicap spot and you catch it, they come out with a machine that has a picture of the drivers license registered and they will issue the ticket in Boca

    1. I had this exact same issue happen over a year ago in the Boca Costco. That area is not Boca PD, it is PBSO and they do not “come right out.” And if they come after the vehicle leaves, even if you have a picture of the violation, they will not do anything.

  2. Keep posting plate numbers so these ass-hats could be identified and maybe a visit from a citation in the mail might be put under their x-mas tree. It’s amazing how the elite is jack wads of PBC think that they are so more important than everyone else.
