BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Like a gift for whatever holiday you celebrate, it’s our Sunday edition of Boca Rudeton. And it does not disappoint. Or, perhaps we should say the rude people among us do not disappoint. Whatever the case, let’s get going with the speed of an overweight man on a sleigh with a bunch of reindeer…
We start with the woman above. If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it 1000 times. Dogs are not permitted in supermarkets. And Publix couldn’t make it more clear through gigantic signs posted at the entrance to all stores, thanks to relentless reporting by BocaNewsNow.com. But that didn’t stop the woman, above, from bringing her dog into the Publix at Federal Highway and Spanish River in Boca Raton. No, we don’t know why she has a dog. And no, we don’t know why she has keys hanging from her belt like a janitor in a John Hughes movie about high school angst from the late 80s or early 90s. But we do know that our tipster felt angst — as perhaps others did — that she decided to take her dog for a walk in a place where people buy food.

Our next stop is Costco in Boca Raton where the driver of a Porsche apparently believed that if you drive a Porsche, you can park wherever you want. Maybe the Florida University of Miami plate X32RL is special and gives you the power to park anywhere at anytime. Or, maybe it’s code for: “I’m a horrible driver and I decided to park my car on a hill because I don’t know how to park in a normal parking lot.” Whatever it means, it is rude, and we welcome this submission as a nominee for the week.

And we’ll wrap the holiday week with bad parking by Bagel Works on Glades Road near the Florida Turnpike. The photo is truly worth 1000 words. Or just one. RUDE. Why is this Mercedes driver taking multiple spaces? We don’t know. Our tipster wonders if he or she was desperate for a bagel. We think they are just desperate for a driving lesson. Or a parking lesson. Or both.
So who is our winner? It’s not even a contest. While the bad parkers are bad, it’s got to be the woman with a dog in Publix. Never mind the signs. Never mind just doing the right thing. If you need your pet in Publix, you need to use curbside delivery or home deliver. Shipt really isn’t expensive, and then you never need to leave your home. You can just spend the whole day petting your pet and posting photos of your pet to instagram, instead of making everyone else see your dog in a place where it does not belong.

We remind our readers that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Don’t want to be seen here? Don’t be rude here! Send your submissions to us using the menu buttons above. I LOVE animals!!! But please do not bring them into the grocery store unless the animal
is a true service dog. That includes NO “emotional support” dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles,
birds, you get the point. I need emotional support when I see dogs sitting in grocery carts
or sniffing food on the shelves. Come on people, your pet would be happier staying at
home.
What else proof the City parking enforcement needs before issuing a ticket?
Selfish people with ugly rat dogs.
If you don’t flood the health department with complaints on the places that are allowing these morons in with their mutts, it will continue.
Maybe you should have a Nosey Raton site since you all can’t seem to mind ya(as in mind ya own damn business). Another reason not to live anywhere near this nasty place!
Why does the manager of Publix or any other Market that has signs posted no dogs allowed not go up to that person and tell them to leave?
She should be banned from all Publix stores, but why do the managers continue to let this happen?
I’m fed up with these cars parking illegally, where are the police/security, why aren’t they issuing tickets or towing them away? Enough is enough! Why aren’t they issuing these people getting away with breaking the law with bringing their dogs into food stores? Why isn’t management removing them or calling the police to have them fined?
Disrespectful individuals bringing dogs to certain public places, and improperly parking motor vehicles, when there are laws prohibiting that for health, safety and welfare reasons, IS everyone else’s damn business… well, except for the vocal minority who mostly whine on here with the same excuses that their dogs are angels, it’s apparently cruel not to allow the elderly to bring their pets into grocery stores, and we’re apparently a bunch of uncultured neanderthals because it’s allowed somewhere in Eurrropppe where you probably can’t even even flush toilet paper and wonder why you have the runs on the plane back home.
